From cities throughout Asia, I sincerely welcome you to Tokyo.
My name is Amano Yu, and I am the Ambassador for the Asia Junior Sports Exchange Games 2019. I am overjoyed and honored that this is the first year that I will be serving as an ambassador for these wonderful games.
At this tournament, I hope to do whatever I can to ensure that participating athletes can demonstrate the fruits of their daily practice and enjoy their matches, experience the fun of sports, and engage in international exchange.
We are now just one year away from the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020. I look forward to the interpersonal exchange achieved through these games helping to build excitement for both events in the future.
In closing, I would like to express my deep gratitude to everyone for their hard work and cooperation in the hosting of this tournament.
Although I may not be perfect, I will do my best to support the games in the days ahead.
