Competition Format

  1. The present rule ITTF and ITTF PTT rules (laws) and competition regulations apply.
  2. “Nittaku” PLS 3-STAR PREMIUM will be used. The umpires will randomly select balls for the matches.
  3. The request of “Time-out” can be made all matches.

Table tennis
  • Team competition will consist of two stages : First stage (round robin system)and Second stage(knock-out system). In the first stage, all teams shall be divided ingroups of five teams to play in a round robins system. All five(5)matches should be played even after a team match has won three(3)individual matches.All matches will be played using 2 tables.
  • In the 2nd stage, the knock-out system will be adopted to the matches between the same placed teams by the results of the first stage. The team match shall be finished when a team has won three(3)individual matches. All matches will be played using 2 tables.
  • The team competitions will be conducted in the following order: Boys singles, Girls singles, Boys doubles, Girls doubles, and Mixed doubles. All players must participate in the first four competitions, but any of the players can participate in the Mixed doubles competition.
  • In case of “Default” of a player, the team will lose the related individual match by the score of 0-3.
  • A player who is required to play in successive matches may claim an interval of up to 5 minutes between matches.
  • Captains shall come to the call area to submit the order of players for the team match at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time of the match. If the order will not be submitted 15 minutes before, the referee will decide the order of players by his right.
Para table tennis
  • Men’s – Athletes will be divided into 2 groups of 6 for preliminary league play. Rankings will be determined in each group. Each match will be a best of 5 games with the first to 3 wins being the victor of the match.
  • Women’s – Athletes will be divided into groups of 6 for preliminary league play to determine rankings. Each match will be a best of 5 games with the first to 3 wins being the victor of the match.
